*Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.*

My mom n my sis told me I’ve been “camera friendly” since I was little. But it’s not genetically inherited coz I think I’m the only one in the fam who is suffering from that syndrome. More of self-invented I guess. I still keep those pics of mini me, where I posed as if I was modelling for anakku or kiki lala. From the point and shoot to SLR, I juz can’t resist the urge to possess them. I’ve always had this dream, of becoming a model busana muslimah in the so-called muslimah mags like dara and nur. It WAS actually one of my ambitions (ya, I know. Laugh all u want). I wouldn’t like to mencapub (excuse the salam perantau, that was a special ucapan for my special ones back home), but the fact that u would get to wear pretty new clothes and be photographed by professional photographers, it’s just awesome. But again, there’s no way in the world I would do that. Never. That was juz one of my many dreamworld fantasies. Hehe. A small girl with big dreams I am.

Before I was interviewed for BPG tesl scholarship, I thought the panel was going to ask about global oil price, math and sc in English, the meaning of cemerlang, gemilang, terbilang, the boon and bane of PLKN, etc. Turned out they asked me about my working experience and possible future career. One of the questions was something like diz- what would u do if your husband asked u to stop teaching and become a full time housewife? Hmm it never came across my mind, but I heard myself said- I would stop, bcoz husbands always come first. Ya, that was one bold answer. Then they asked again- but the gov would hav paid for your education? And I replied- then I’d teach at home. I would provide home tuition. (ya rite maira, as if it was that simple). Thinking back, maybe I should hav answered like this instead- oh, I would try to negotiate with him, bla bla bla... But I guess the answer I had given was the point that allowed me to be where I’m at now.

I looovvvee tempe. I like soya bean curd. I’m ok with soya bean drink. But tauhu, the normal square tauhu, it’s juz a major no-no. Weird enough, they’re all derived from the same thing – soya bean. It’s like you’re passing through the custom at an airport, my throat will detect the tauhu, and beep beep beep, off you go. Yes, that also means I don’t like tauhu sumbat. Don’t know why. I tried, but I juz couldn’t. Really made me wanna throw up. Too bad for me, I’ve lost one nikmat. I’m a fan of veggie though :) excluding taugeh, timun, tomato and tauhu. Wait, does tauhu fall under the category of veggie? And what's with the 'T' veggies?

I’m afraid of heights hehe but not severely. So if you need a companion for a roller coaster ride or whatsoever thrill rides, or for the space shot in genting, I am the very very last person you would want to ask. Haha, let alone bungee jumping! It’s soo not in my dictionary (sori kak fad darling ;p I’ll take zillions photos of you ok? If we happen to go to nz). I’ve tried the batman shot in movie world and the corkscrew in genting, and the feelings that kicked in were not cool. We can still have fun in many other ways ;)

Fav girl accessories? I’d go for bags and shoes, and I’d probably rank cosmetics the lowest in my list. Or maybe not in the list at all. I’m not really a constant huge spender actually, but window shopping can undeniably be an effective alternative medicine to me ;p. BUT, my shopping dose has amazingly decreased since I came to oz. I find saving is a lot more fun than shopping if I want to survive here and when I come back to msia. And also bcoz I’ve internalised the phrase “membazir-amalan-syaitan” more here. Allah does tell us not to berlebihan (7:31 and 17:27). 7:31 includes not to pakai and MAKAN berlebihan. Adeh.

I’m a neat and hygiene freak. Almost a perfectionist. But I’m not one ok. At least, that’s what I think. Am I a perfectionist? Nah, don’t think so. Particular, maybe. Or is it just a euphemism for perfectionist? But one thing for sure, I don’t reach to the extent of a total-perfection-freak domestic goddess. Not even close. Nway, my point is I like to keep my things in order. Of coz there are times when I just don’t care, when I’m too lazy or busy. I’m still normal, of coz I hav those shipwreck moments. But once the neat hormone is triggered, there’s no single junk can get on my way ;p hehe. No, I don’t iron my clothes before I fold them. But yes, the hangers in my closet have to be colour and shape coordinated, in other words, they must come from the same exact brand, whatever it may be. Ok now I do sound like a perfectionist, don’t I? Huhu. Guess I am, in certain things, particularly in physically organising my stuff. Scary? Hmm maybe, but it’s good for the eyes and the soul ;p hehe. I wasn’t born like that. Trust me, I was really, really, really a messy girl, until upper secondary school. Messy, i mean it, like really mean it. Not sure what had changed her.

I’m more expressive on paper (or in microsoft word??) than orally. But I think we all do, don’t we? That explains why oral presentations never fail to drive all the butterflies in my stomach crazy. But then I never thought writing about me would be so mentally demanding. That’s the 7th fact! And I think I’ve already given away too much info bout myself. This is one long post!

Now I wanna tag nadia, ery, tikah, n syaz :) cheerio!
