I should be doing my ICT assignment… but my action now indicates that my brain is NOT receiving the right message… oh girl, u need to work harder….

As far as I can recall, the last person I know named humairah or umairah or anything that sounds like mine, is kak mai, yana’s cuzzy. She was a senior when I was in lower primary school.
I mean, really, there was no other humairah in smap.
Until, I went to Melbourne. Oh gosh, there were – umai brisbane, umai uk, umai melbourne, etc. Apekah?? That moment, the thought “im-not-that-special-anymore” struck me. *poyoness me* So the point is, there’s no point actually… hehehe… told ya it’s juz me being poyo…
They say our names suggest our personalities, so it’s good to see other humairahs… see if anyone proves the notion… but then, im no one to judge… and I don’t even know if their names are spelled ‘humairah’ or ‘umairah’ or whatsoever, coz the meaning differs from one another…
Well, nway… sometimes ppl ask me about my name… so maybe that’s where ‘the point’ can fit in... huhu…

Fyi, nur means cahaya… ok, I know u know that…
Moving on, humairah means kemerah-merahan… (umairah means puteri@princess, if i'm not mistaken.. Now Fadilah, that’s what I call real princess ;p)
Hmm… don’t usually reveal this in public, but my family membs call me nur… yup, im also not sure why, maybe bcoz they couldn’t find a shorter form of humairah.. or maybe bcoz my eldest sis has already been called ‘ira’ (hasni raha)…
or maybe, when I was born, I was really like a light shining through the window, that came after the storm (errrr??? fast forward pls…)
My skdhb (primary school) friends call me maira…
My smap friends call me mumu… only 2 or 3 call me umai, maira, humairah…. The seniors call me umai… The juniors call me kak mumu... ‘mumu’ was initiated by wan nor asliza, the one I sat next to when we were first formers… thanks to her, I didn’t hear anyone asked “nk pggil humairah ke, ade name pendek lg?” anymore… mumu has no meaning, but juz for the sake of a nickname, I don’t really mind as long as the name doesn’t carry a bad meaning.
In ipba, I introduced myself as umai… I don’t know why, I cant seem to use ‘mumu’ in a new place… maybe bcoz ive been with the dreamerz for so long it feels weird to ask strangers to call u with the name ur “we’ve-lived-together-for-5-years” friends use to call u.. u get what I mean rite??
But, looking at my situation in Melbourne, why does every humairah have to be addressed as umai? Adeh… huhu… Maybe I should have juz sticked to mumu..

Hmm.. talking bout names, lets sing Asma’ul husna… I mean it, seriously… lets think, when was the last time we sang those beautiful names of Allah? We have time to sing from elvis presleys' to chris browns' and memorise the lyrics by heart, insyaAllah it wont kill us to sing Asma’ul husna :) we’re alone in our rooms anyway, so no worries bout cracking other ppl up. Oki doki… give it a go… :)

Bismillah…
